New Member Project

1. Download the New Members Booklet
Please download and read through the new members booklet. In there you will find the new member project description.
(Right click and "Save As..." the file your computer)

You will need Solidworks to complete the new members project, as outlined in the booklet. SolidWorks is available in the computer labs on the second floor of the CEME building.

2. Complete the New Members Project
Chapter 9.1-SolidWorks Project in the new members booklet outlines the files needed to complete the new members projects. You are required to create one Solidworks model from the two PDF drawings. The two files required for Part B of the project are located below:

2b. BONUS Model
If you finish the above model and wish to challenge yourself, you may create model from the drawings below:

3. Hand-in Procedure
Please save your files for both part A and B and send it to info@formulaubc.com as a zip file with "New Members Project" in the subject. Please name the file with your full name, for example JohnDoe.zip . Project due date is Nov 3, 2008.
